Banning USD families are invited to attend the upcoming District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) meeting on Thursday, May 14, 2026. The meeting will include an overview of the District’s Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), opportunities for educational partner feedback, program updates, and Summer Academy information.

The Family Resource Guide is now available and includes information about programs, services, and supports available to students and families across the District.
Enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year is now open. Families with students entering Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, or those interested in transferring to the District are encouraged to apply.
Banning USD is launching a new electronic bus pass system to strengthen student safety and transportation accountability across the District.
Bus pass cards will be distributed at school February 25–27, and students must begin using their card on Monday, March 2. When boarding the bus, students will present their card and tap it on the scanner.
If your student does not receive a card, you may submit a replacement request at www.banning.k12.ca.us/bus-pass.

On December 2, 2025, Banning Unified School District proudly recognized two outstanding students during the December Student of the Month celebration. Each month, the District honors students who exemplify academic dedication, character, leadership, and commitment to their school communities. For December, the District is pleased to highlight William Tippens from Banning High School and Raquel Camacho from Banning Independent Study School.
